Super Mario Maker Overview pt 1

Hey guys! Today I'll be talking about the new Super Mario Maker only for the Wii U. In Super Mario Maker, you get to make your very own Mario levels (ohhhhhh ahhhhhh).  To start making a Super Mario level, you open the tool palette. You can then choose an object or enemy, and place them around the level. Like other Super Marios you can place goombas, or put mushrooms in a question block.
You can even break the rules by placing enemies like koopas in the question block. Some objects and enemies will transform when you shake them. One boo can turn into several boos when shaken on the Wii U touch pad. You can even combine objects and enemies to create something different. For example you can put a mushroom on a koopa to make it bigger. The combination options are almost unlimited! When you first begin, they will only give you the esstenials, but as you play more and more you will unlock new objects, enemies, and even themes everyday. In total you can unlock everything in nine days. Each new set of tools will expand your options and Mario's horizons. One way to improve your level is by testing out you level while playing your level. You can switch from edit to play mode with press of a button. Mario will leave a trail of ghosts behind him so you can design levels that require Mario to jump as far as he can. Levels can include more than just objects and enemies, you can also add sound effect with the sound effects frog. Some sound effect even include visuals. Also you create you very own sound effects! For the musicaly creative, you can shake a note block into a music block that will play a note based on how high the block is. Whole songs can be created. There are six course themes, underground, underwater, castle, etc.
